India’s electric SUV game just got darker and more stylish. On one side, Mahindra brings the BE 6 Batman Edition, inspired by the Batmobile, bold and dramatic. On the other, Tata launches the Harrier EV Stealth Edition, calm, modern, and full of tech. Both dressed in Satin Matte Black, these SUVs are not just cars they are personalities on wheels. Let’s take a closer look at these two black beauties
Vision
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition grabs everyone’s attention from the front. Its C-shaped LED DRLs and projector headlights create a very dramatic look. The shining ‘BE’ logo on the bonnet and golden accents add to its beauty. It looks like the Batmobile has appeared in a more civilized and modern version.
On the other hand, Tata Harrier EV Stealth Edition takes a completely different route. Its front end is clean and futuristic. The closed grille and the connected LED DRLs running above it, which give welcome and goodbye animation, give a completely new generation feel. This car looks more calm, more refined and full of technology, like a silent assassin who makes his presence felt without making any noise.
Side Profile
However, the true character of both the vehicles is revealed when viewed from the side. The BE 6 Batman does not hold back here either. While there are bold ‘Batman’ decals and golden bat logo on the front door, golden painted brake calipers and suspension springs create a strong contrast with the matte black body, the flush door handles, coupe-like roofline and large 20-inch alloy wheels increase its street presence manifold.
In fact, the Harrier EV Stealth stands out with its classic and muscular SUV silhouette. It does not need much. Just a ‘Stealth’ badge and ‘.EV’ insignia are enough to identify it. It is a slightly conservative and mature look, which looks great on the 19-inch alloy wheels.
Interiors
Now talking about the interior, as soon as you go inside, you will feel as if you are stepping into two different worlds. The cabin of BE 6 Batman is like a theme park. Golden accents with black theme, Batman insignia near the start/stop button, boost button with Batman logo on the steering, and Batman marks everywhere on the dashboard, seats and panoramic roof. Everything here is made to take you to the world of Batman.
The interior of Harrier EV Stealth feels like a high-tech lounge. Everything here is all-black, without any noise. It relies on technology, not design. It has serious tools like a massive 14.5-inch touchscreen, digital IRVM with dashcam built in, V2L and V2V functionality. This cabin makes the driver feel like a commander.
Features
Where safety is concerned, both the vehicles leave no stone unturned. Both come equipped with 7 airbags, 360-degree cameras and a full suite of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). The BE 6 is based on the Batman Pack Three variant, while the Harrier EV Stealth is based on its top-spec Empowered variant.
