Front Design
From the front, the Vision T’s massive 6-slat split grille resembles the Thar Roxx. But that’s where the difference begins. The Vision T gets square-shaped LED headlights with vertical LED stripes. The Thar Roxx on the other hand comes with classic circular LED headlights and C-shaped DRLs. The Vision T also gets an exposed tow hook latch on the front bumper that is finished in yellow – this small detail makes it look more adventurous.
Side Profile
There are a lot of similarities in the side profile of both the SUVs. The rear door handle of Vision T is also on the C-pillar and its rear quarter glass is similar to Thar Roxx. But Vision T has a jerry can placed on the left quarter glass, which seems inspired by Land Rover Defender. Vision T comes with off-road spec tyres and chunkier body cladding, while Thar Roxx is seen on 19-inch alloy wheels.
Rear Design
From the rear, both have a tailgate mounted spare wheel. But the Vision T comes with modern squared tail lights with vertical LED stripes. Both have high-mounted brake lights and a black bumper, but the Vision T’s bumper also has a silver skid plate.
Interiors and Features
On the inside, both have a similar dashboard design. The Vision T’s large vertical touchscreen also houses the climate control display. There is a separate digital display in front of the steering. The Thar Roxx gets dual 10.25-inch displays. Both get a 3-spoke steering wheel, but the Vision T gets ‘Vision T’ branding on the steering and a start/stop button.
The Thar Roxx is equipped with features like panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, ventilated seats, Harman Kardon sound system, powered driver’s seat, auto AC, and cooled glovebox. In terms of safety, it also gets 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, TPMS, and level 2 ADAS.
Powertrain
The Vision T is built on the NU IQ platform, which supports different powertrain options. Hence, it is expected to come in both ICE and EV versions. The Thar Roxx comes with two engine options: 2-litre turbo-petrol (162-177 PS) and 2.2-litre diesel (152-175 PS), both mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic.
