SSC CGL Notification 2025. Many such examinations are conducted for government jobs in the country, to which candidates apply to sit. Recruitments are done in many departments of the Centre through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL). SSC conducts many such examinations, in which one gets a chance to apply according to the qualification. We are giving you a special update on SSC CGL Vacancy 2025.

Let us tell you that the application process for SSC CGL 2025 started from 09 June 2025 and ended on 04 July 2025, in which the candidates applied according to the qualification, while the Tier-1 examination of 2025 will be conducted from 13 August to 30 August. This exam will be computer-based (CBT). At the same time, Tier-2 examination will also be held in CBT mode in December 2025.

How many posts are being recruited

According to the official notice issued by SSC, the Staff Selection Commission will fill 14,582 vacant posts through the SSC CGL 2025 recruitment exam. In which the information of the posts according to the category is given.

  • For unreserved category – 6183 posts
  • For SC – 2,167 posts
  • For ST – 1,088 posts
  • For OBC – 3,721 posts
  • 1423 posts for EWS

SSC CGL 2025: Exam Pattern

At present, the Tier-I exam is going on, in which a total of 100 questions will be asked.

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning -25
  • General Awareness – 25
  • Quantitative Aptitude- 25
  • English Comprehension- 25

Let us tell you that the entire question paper will be of a total of 200 marks. An important thing is that a 0.50 negative marking will also be done for every wrong answer. Apart from this, except for the English Comprehension section, all other questions will be in both English and Hindi.

SSC CGL result will be released soon

Let us tell you that the Tier-1 exam of 2025 will be conducted from 13 August to 30 August, due to which this exam will be computer-based (CBT). At the same time, the Tier-2 exam will also be held in CBT mode in December 2025. In such a situation, the result can be released within a month of the exam. However, it has not been officially confirmed.
