This bike has a single-pod headlight, muscular fuel tank, raked-up tail section and wide handlebar. It also gets compact exhaust canister and 17-inch alloy wheels which give the bike an even sportier look.

Engine and performance
Talking about engine and performance, this bike has a 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin CP2 engine. The same engine is also used in the Yamaha YZF-R7. The special thing is that it has a 270-degree crankshaft which gives a different thrill due to the uneven firing order. This engine produces 72.4 bhp of power at 8,750 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which makes the riding even smoother and more powerful.
Features and technology
Talking about features and technology, the Yamaha MT-07 will be launched in India with advanced features like the international version. It will have full-LED lighting, 5-inch TFT instrument cluster and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity. Along with this, an optional quick shift system will also be available in it. For safety, the bike has dual-channel ABS, assist and slipper clutch. These features not only make the riding experience safe, but also improve control at high speeds.

Hardware and suspension
Talking about hardware and suspension, this bike has a diamond-type chassis which makes it strong. Telescopic forks are provided at the front and link-type monoshock suspension at the rear. For braking, it gets 298mm twin rotors at the front and 245mm single disc brakes at the rear. Apart from this, the bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels and Michelin Road 5 tires, which give it even more grip and stability on the road.
