The company is soon preparing to launch its great sports bike Yamaha YZF-R7 in the Indian market. Design and style of Yamaha YZF-R7
Talking about the design, the YZF-R7 is fully equipped with racing DNA. This bike will get twin LED DRLs with single-pod headlight, M-shaped air intake inspired by MotoGP bike YZR-M1 and full-fairing design. The bike has clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs and split-style seats, which give it a perfect sports look.

Its muscular 13-liter fuel tank and YZF-R1-style fin design make it more attractive. The tail light is also inspired by the R1. At the same time, two color options Icon Blue and Yamaha Black give it a more premium feel.
Engine and performance
Talking about engine and performance, this bike will get a 689cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled CP2 engine. The same engine is also given in Yamaha MT-07. This powerful engine generates 72.4bhp of power and 67Nm of torque. Its 270-degree crankshaft gives a unique firing sequence, which doubles the fun of riding. With a 6-speed gearbox, it will get assist and slipper clutch as standard. At the same time, the quick shift system available in the international version is also expected to come as an option in the India model.
Features and Technology
Yamaha has taken full care of the features in this. The YZF-R7 will have full-LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster with negative mode display and safety features like ABS. Talking about the suspension setup, KYB’s fully-adjustable upside-down forks will be available at the front and a monoshock at the rear, which will have the option of preload and rebound damping adjustment. For braking, there are twin 298mm discs at the front and a 245mm disc brake at the rear.
