Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2025: The process of counselling is going on in the state after the results of the NEET UG exam. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, has released the NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result. This result can be checked on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. After the declaration of the result, the candidates who had registered for counselling for admission in MBBS and BDS courses at the state level can check their names in the list released and check their allotment status.

Opportunity to report till August 24

If your name comes in this allotment list, then such candidates will have to reach their reporting college by 24 August 2025 (5 pm). However, candidates seeking an upgrade can participate in the second round of counselling, for which the detailed schedule will be released soon on the official portal. In such a situation, candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website from time to time for counselling, so that important updates are not missed.

One thing to note for the candidates is that if your name appears in the list of Tamil Nadu NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment result, then there is a rule to report within the deadline; if one does not do so, then his/her seat will be cancelled. Please note that there are 6571 MBBS and 1982 BDS seats in the state. If your name is not there, you can wait for the second round.

  • Open the file as per your convenience and search for your information in it.
  • Download this file and take a printout of it for future reference.
