The Tata Altroz 2025 was updated in May 2025 and has been equipped with many new features. The car now gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, which includes functions like blind spot monitoring and navigation. The infotainment system is a 10.25-inch touchscreen, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For safety, the Altroz offers features like 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and height adjustable seatbelts. For comfort, the car has a sunroof, Harman’s 8-speaker sound system and rear AC vents.

Tata Altroz 2025 was launched in May, but in August 2025 itself, the company has decided to give a discount of up to Rs 1 lakh on it. This discount may vary according to the variant, in fact, Tata had to take this step to compete with cars like Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20.
The main reason for this discount is the sales performance of this car. In July 2025, Tata Altroz sold only 3,905 units, while Maruti Baleno sold 12,503 units and Hyundai i20 sold 3,396 units. These figures clearly show that Tata needed such offers to make its car more attractive.
Engine and Performance
Now talking about its engine, two engine options are available in Tata Altroz 2025. The first is a 1.2 liter petrol engine which produces 88bhp power and 115Nm torque. This engine comes with 5-speed manual, AMT and 6-speed DCT automatic transmission options.

The second option is a 1.2 liter petrol + CNG engine which gives 74bhp power and 103Nm torque, but it comes only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
