Fastag, which has completely changed the system of toll tax collection in India, has now taken another big step. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has implemented the Fastag Annual Pass across the country on August 15. According to a government statement, this annual pass has received a tremendous response from people traveling on the highway on the very first day. By 4:30 pm on August 15, more than 1.2 lakh users purchased and activated this pass, recording more than 1.24 lakh transactions at toll plazas across the country.
Get a year-round Fastag pass for just ₹3000

The Fastag Annual Pass has been introduced to make it an affordable and easy option for highway travellers. The validity of this pass will be for 1 year, or you can cross 200 toll plazas in a one-time payment of ₹3000. Whichever of these two is completed first, the validity of the pass will expire.
For which vehicles is this pass and where will it be applicable
This Fastag annual pass is valid only for non-commercial vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans, which already have a valid Fastag. This pass will work only on national highways or expressways; that is, it cannot be used on state highways or expressways. The best thing about it is that you will not need to recharge it again and again. Pay ₹ 3000 once and travel worry-free till you cross 200 toll plazas or for a whole year.

It is very easy to activate the Fastag Annual Pass. For this, you can use the Highway Yatra app or the official website of NHAI. This pass gets activated within two hours of depositing a one-time fee of ₹ 3000.
