Tata Curvv EV Review : Tata Motors is one of the companies stepping into this evolution of electric vehicles in the Indian car market. After successful launches with Nexon EV and Punch EV, the company is set to roll out its long-awaited Curvv electric vehicle. Previously showcased in a concept form, the Curvv EV was appealing thanks to its cool design features. Now that it is nearing launch in production form, car buffs and EV buyers wait in anticipation to see what else it finally has to offer.
Tata will launch its Curvv EV in India by around mid-2025, and it promises to be one of the first SUVs launched during the year. This mid-sized SUV will also be placed between the Nexon EV and the Harrier EV, thereby targeting consumers looking for a premium electric SUV that also has sporty looks and the latest features. The model will be based on Tata’s advanced Gen-2 EV platform that promises better performance and higher efficiency along with long-lasting driving range compared to current Tata EVs.

The Curvv EV will have a coupe-like SUV silhouette imparting a sporty, bold styling to it. There will be a closed grille at the front, along with sleek LED DRLs running across the width, cuts in the body profile and stylish alloy wheels seen on its side, besides a strikingly unique rear with a sloping roofline and connected LED tail lamps. The Curvv is one of the most attractive EVs you would see in its segment.
Inside the cabin, Tata will load the Curvv EV with as many premium features as possible. Expect large touchscreen infotainment systems, a fully digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated seats. In terms of safety features, it will include multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and electronic stability control.

Performance-wise, the Curvv EV is expected to be powered with multiple batteries and promises a range of 400-500 km on a single charge, true to both urban commuting requirements and long-distance highway trips. The vehicle will also feature fast charging, allowing for quick top-ups while on road trips. With instant torque delivery, smooth acceleration, and silent drive, the Curvv EV would offer a complete premium experience of driving.
Overall, it’s a classy, loaded, fairly practical electric SUV for the Indian buyer. It would most likely be launched in 2025, making it a fierce contender against other contenders arising linearly such as the Hyundai Creta EV, the Maruti eVX, and the Mahindra BE line of SUVs. Definitely one of the EVs for which one could be the most excited in the coming year.
