10th pass can be recruited in the army like this

If you have passed the 10th grade, then we will tell you how you can join the Indian Army. After passing 10th, the youth have many options to join the Indian Army, such as Sainik (General Duty), Tradesman and Agniveer.

Soldier General Duty – Candidates should have at least 45 per cent marks in class 10th and should have obtained 33 per cent marks in each subject. To apply for Sainik (General Duty) posts, the minimum age of the candidates should be 17.5 years, and the maximum age limit should be 21 years.

Tradesman post – For application, candidates should have Matriculation / 10th pass certificate from a recognised board as well as an ITI certificate in the relevant field. To apply for Tradesman and Agniveer posts, the minimum age of the candidates should be 17.5 years, and the maximum age limit should be 23 years.

12th pass can get recruited in the army like this

If you want to join the Indian Army after class 12th, then after 12th pass, you can join the Indian Army in 3 ways. Which includes National Defence Academy (NDA), Technical Entry Scheme (TES), and Soldier/General Duty (SGD).

TES

If you want to join the army after class 12th, then you get the option under TES. As a qualification, you should have 60% in 12th with Physics and Chemistry, and Maths. The age limit should be 16.5 to 19.5 years, and should be an unmarried male.

NDA

12th pass (PCM for Navy and Air Force) can join for Union Public Service Commission (UPSE). The age limit has been kept from 16.5 to 19.5 years. Under this, unmarried men and women can apply.

SGD

In SGD, 12th pass + trade can be joined as Tech, Clerk, Nursing Assistant, Store Keeper. Physical and Medical parameters have to be fulfilled in eligibility; here, the age limit is according to the post.
