MG Windsor: In India’s electric vehicle market, MG Windsor EV has once again reached a huge milestone. July 2025 sales stand at 4,308 units, the highest since launch. It is also the 10th month in a row it has led as India’s top-selling EV, a benchmark for sustained performance in the category.

Record-Breaking Sales Performance

Since its opening in October 2024, the MG Windsor EV has recorded more than 35,000 units sold. During Q2 CY2025, MG’s market share of electric vehicles increased from 28% to 32%, partly due to Windsor’s high demand. The average monthly sales increased by 17%, with 35,100 units between October 2024 and July 2025. Even during low periods such as February 2025, the model registered constant sales, indicating its popularity.

December 2024 registered 3,785 units, followed by May 2025 with 3,939 units. July 2025 was the highest of all months with 4,308 units — a new Windsor EV record. This steady increase indicates increased customer confidence and brand presence in India’s EV space.

MG Windsor EV combines sedan sophistication with SUV versatility. Its AeroGlide styling and Aero Lounge seats with 135-degree recline deliver business-class comfort. A 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW touch screen contributes to its upscale cabin ambiance, making each drive an immersive in-car experience.

Pricing and Affordability

In its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, Windsor EV begins at ₹9.99 lakh and ₹3.9 per km. This pricing strategy makes buying a premium EV within reach, appealing to both first-timers and those stepping up from traditional cars.
