Heavy rain alert in many states
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Uttarakhand and North Interior Karnataka. An orange alert has been issued for here. There is a possibility of lightning at both these places. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi. Apart from these, the next 24 hours are likely to be full of trouble in Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh.
Heavy rain warning has been issued here. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Bihar, Western and Eastern Madhya Pradesh. Yellow alert has also been issued for here. Heavy rain is already being seen in these places.
Heavy rain is also likely here
According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in South Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. A yellow alert for rain has also been issued here.
Rain warning in Northeast too
The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh of the Northeast. Apart from these, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. A yellow alert has also been issued for all these states.
