New Delhi: The Post Office is now introducing such technology which will make the work simple as well as transparent. This will reduce the problems of the people. Bihar Circle of the Postal Department has taken an important step on Monday. IT 2.0 software has been started in Patna GPO and Bankipur.

The software, equipped with digital facilities, has been inaugurated by Bihar Circle Chief Postmaster General M.U. Abdalis i at both places. Meanwhile, he has also given important information. He said that IT 2.0 will work to make postal services digital, fast and transparent. With this, the department will be able to touch new heights of technical self-reliance. Real-time information on booking, payment and delivery will also be available through this software.

Secure transactions will be promoted.

Chief Postmaster General M.U. Abdali said that QR code scanning will also promote cashless and secure transactions. Along with this, the postal delivery system will be more accurate and effective. Along with this, Postal Director (Headquarters) Pawan Kumar has also termed it as a symbol of the commitment of the Postal Department towards public service.

He said that the postman will now prove to be not only a letter carrier, but also a messenger of digital services. This will work to increase convenience, security and trust. Chief Postmaster of Patna GPO Ranjay Kumar Singh said that this user-friendly software will work to make the work of postal workers simple, easy and timely.
