Sleek screen with premium brightness and security
The Vivo Y400 5G is said to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, according to the leak. The screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing. Among the features is its 1800 nits peak brightness, which should provide good outdoor legibility. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor for extra security and convenience.
Dual rear cameras and a clear selfie lens
At the front, the Y400 5G will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera for crisp video calls and selfies. Turning around at the back, the phone will have a dual-camera configuration made up of a 50-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Though small in number, the configuration promises average performance for basic photography.
Snapdragon-powered performance and humongous battery
Under the bonnet, the phone is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The phone also features a humongous 6000mAh battery, coupled with 90W fast charging support, which will help keep downtime to the barest minimum. It should be available in two RAM and storage variants: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, which should suit extreme users.
Durability and design options
Previous news indicates that the Vivo Y400 5G will be IP68/69-rated, promising good protection against dust and water. It will come with the choice of two vibrant colors, Glam White and Olive Green, each appealing to a different aesthetic.
Anticipated Indian market pricing
According to the leaked prices, the 8GB+128GB variant of the Y400 5G should cost ₹21,999, and the 8GB+256GB model should cost ₹23,999. Their MRPs should be ₹26,999 and ₹28,999, which would indicate good launch offers or early-bird discounts.
More Vivo phones on the way
Besides the Y400 5G, Vivo is also gearing up to launch other devices in India. The Vivo V60, which is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, is going to be released on August 12. Another new T-series device, with a potential name of the Vivo T4 Pro, is also on the list, although details about it have not been revealed yet.
