Maruti Dzire CNG vs Tata Tigor CNG : In India, by 2025, the greatest part of people concerning cars will be interested mostly in fuel efficiency, style, and affordability. CNG cars will be popular within the compact sedan segment as they are the cheapest-running and clean-fuel options, like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG and the Tata Tigor CNG. Design and Looks
Maruti Dzire CNG looks clean and classy; it has got this modern yet understated look featuring a curved front grille, swept-back headlamps, and flowing lines, which appeal to huge sections from an array of buyers, both families and professionals.
Compared to the Dzire, Tata Tigor CNG has sharper headlamps, a bold front bumper, and a rear profile that looks strikingly coupe-like. So, if you want a little bit more expressiveness in your car, then the Tigor is a winner.
Performance and Mileage
Under the hood is a 1.2L petrol-CNG engine working to deliver 77.5 PS and a claimed mileage of 31.12 km/kg for the Dzire CNG. It runs smoothly in traffic of the urban areas and, as in most of Maruti’s reputations, is equipped with smooth running engines.
For Tigor CNG, it’s a 1.2L Revotron petrol-CNG engine having its power figure at 73.4 PS and a mileage figure of 27.17 km/kg. Although slightly less powerful and efficient than the Dzire CNG, it does keep its poise on the highway and city roads.
Interior and Features
Dzire CNG has a very simple spacious cabin. It has got a 7-inch touchscreen, Android auto and Apple car play, rear AC vents, and good enough boot space for a CNG car.
On the other hand, Tigor CNG has premium touches like a digital instrument cluster, Harman audio, push-button start, and also a 7-inch infotainment system. All in all, it feels a little more premium in design as well as in materials.
Safety and Price
Both of them have acclaim for dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and other safety features. Safety-wise, Tigor CNG is more favored as this has 4-star GNCAP safety ratings. Price-wise, both fall between the ranges of ₹7.5 to ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom), with the Dzire being a tad lighter on the pocket.
If it is all about mileage, smoother engine, lower maintenance, and the rest, then it is wise to go with Maruti Dzire CNG. But if safety, style, and premium features are what you seek, Tata Tigor CNG has got more bang for the buck. Choose what means more to you-savings or style!
