Now, only two days are left for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to be released. The 20th installment will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers on 2 August 2025.

So far, 19 installments under this scheme have been sent to around 9.8 crore farmers. In the next two days, eligible farmers will receive the third installment of this year, which is part of the ₹6,000 annual support provided under the scheme.

How Do Farmers Get ₹6,000 in a Year from PM Kisan Yojana?

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, the government gives ₹6,000 every year to farmers. This money is sent directly to the farmer’s bank account in three parts of ₹2,000 each. This money is very helpful during the Kharif and Rabi seasons. Farmers use it for buying seeds, fertilizers, and for irrigation work.

This time, the 20th installment of the scheme will be sent on 2 August 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release this installment during a special program in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

How to Check If the Money Has Come?

To check the payment, you have to visit the website pmkisan.gov.in. On the website, you need to click on the Beneficiary Status option. Then you have to enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number. After that, you have to click on the Get Data button.

If it shows Payment Success on the screen, it means the money has been deposited in your account. If there is any problem like e-KYC not done, wrong bank details, or Aadhaar not linked, then the website will show that message.

e-KYC and Aadhaar Are Very Important

For this 20th installment, it is very important to complete e-KYC and link your bank account with Aadhaar. If your information is incomplete or not updated, then your payment may stop. So, if you have not done this, you should update your details quickly by visiting the PM Kisan website.

What to Do If the Money Does Not Come?

If the money does not come into your account on time, you should visit your nearest agriculture office or CSC center. You should also check that your Aadhaar number, land records, and bank account details are correct and updated.
