India’s electric scooter segment is abuzz, and if you want to make a transition to EV, you’re in the right place. In today’s article, we’ll compare the top three models, Kinetic DX, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube priced in the same range but each with something different to offer.

Kinetic DX

Kinetic DX is a new player in India’s EV market and is up against other mainstream models such as Ather Rizta, Vida VX2, and Honda Activa e. Its menacing looks and speed-oriented specs put it in a strong position. Priced from ₹1.12 lakh to ₹1.17 lakh (ex-showroom), it wants to appeal to customers who are looking for speed and battery performance in a next-gen look.

Bajaj Chetak

Bajaj Chetak, which costs ₹1.14 lakh (ex-showroom), combines tradition with electric technology. It comes with a 3.5 kWh battery that delivers a 153 km range on a single charge and has a top speed of 63 km/h. Its well-balanced combination of range and brand trust makes it a very desirable choice for city riders.

TVS iQube

TVS iQube has greater flexibility, and it comes in 3.5 kWh as well as 5.3 kWh battery pack options. The starting variant is said to have a range of 123 km, and the top-end ST variant manages a top speed of up to 82 km/h. With a price segment ranging from ₹1.09 lakh to ₹1.28 lakh (ex-showroom), it is for buyers who want greater battery and performance choices.

Battery & Performance Comparison

Kinetic DX gets a 2.6 kWh LFP battery with a claimed IDC-rated range of 116 km and maximum speed of 90 km/h, best suited for the speedsters. Bajaj Chetak’s 3.5 kWh battery gives more at 153 km, but its top speed is lesser. TVS iQube finds the middle ground with two available batteries and decent overall performance, particularly in its ST variant.
