Lado Sakhi Yojana- Good news for women. The state government is constantly making new efforts to increase the birth rate of daughters in Haryana. Under this, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has launched a new scheme before the Lado Lakshmi scheme in the state .
Under this scheme, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers and ANM nurses will help pregnant women. Also, an incentive of Rs 1000 will be given on the birth of every daughter. The CM has announced this during the Teej festival from Ambala.
Lado Sakhi Yojana will strengthen the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. Apart from this , Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini also launched many schemes. Under the Lado Sakhi scheme, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and ANM nurses will take care of pregnant women. They will get money for this. Also, on the birth of a daughter, they will get Rs 1000 separately from the government. A ‘Lado Sakhi’ will be attached to pregnant women to help and monitor them personally.
Daughters are growing in the state
The effect of many welfare schemes being run by the Haryana government is now being seen in the form of the decreasing ratio of sons and daughters in the state. According to the Chief Minister, the sex ratio was 871 in 2014. Now it has become 906. Apart from this, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini also announced many other schemes.
131 Mahila Sanskriti Kendras have been opened. Apart from this, ‘Badhte Kadam: Digital Bal Program’ has been started in Anganwadi. Under this, Anganwadi workers will be able to take care of children in a better way and educate them. 10000 ‘Do it Yourself’ kits were distributed to the girl students to increase the skill of self-employment among girls at a young age.
When will we get the money from Lado Laxmi Yojana?
50 lakh women of the state are waiting for Lado Laxmi Yojana. The budget of this scheme has been passed and about 50 lakh eligible women will get Rs 2100 in their accounts. Information has been received about this scheme that the wait of women is going to end soon and this scheme can be implemented on the occasion of Rakshabandhan on 9 August.
Under this scheme, eligible women living below the poverty line will be given Rs 2100 every month. Consensus has been reached on the age, income limit and all other aspects regarding this scheme. Its formal announcement by the CM is yet to be made.
