How to apply for ration card from mobile?
For this, first open UMANG app in your device. Then register with your mobile number. After this you will reach the homepage of the app. Now click on the Services section visible on the bottom left. Then scroll to the Utility Services section and click on the Apply Ration Card option. Now select your state and then fill the details being asked. You have to enter your personal details like name, father’s name and date of birth. After entering the details, upload all the necessary documents. After this, finally you have to click on the Submit button.
Let us tell you that currently only people of some states/union territories like Chandigarh, Ladakh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli can apply online for ration card through UMANG app. In the coming time, this service will be started for more states.
