Design & Style
The Nothing Phone (3) comes with a premium transparent slab design, which looks like the most polished version till date. This time the traditional Glyph light strips have been replaced by a new “Glyph Matrix” dot design, which makes the notification and visual effects more unique. Along with this, a new “Essential Key” is also available which is quite useful for quick actions. The build quality is strong, IP68 rating is also available, meaning protection from water and dust.
Now talking about Nothing Fold, it can come with a foldable design, which can convert your phone into a tablet. It can have an inward-folding style like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The design will come with a transparent or unique look, just like the style of Nothing. It will be a bit heavy and thick due to folding, but the experience will be next-level. There will be complete focus on the hinge and crease design.
Display & Visuals
The Phone (3) gets a single 6.67-inch OLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness peak is up to 4500 nits, meaning everything will be crystal clear even in sunlight. The display looks quite crisp and smooth, especially for day-to-day usage.
The Nothing Fold can have a large 7.8-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display, along with a 6.1-inch cover screen. Both support 120Hz. LTPO tech makes the refresh rate dynamic, which helps save battery. But overall the Phone (3) will have higher brightness, and the Fold will get the advantage of a multi-screen experience.
Performance & Processor
The Phone (3) is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, which offers top-level performance for gaming, multitasking and AI features. This chip is a slightly toned-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but there will be very little difference in real-life usage.
The Nothing Fold could have either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Gen 5 processor, which will be even more powerful. A flagship-level chip is expected due to the foldability. So the Fold could be a bit of a performance hit, especially when working on multiple screens.
Camera Setup
The Phone (3) has a triple 50MP camera setup. The main sensor is OV50H OIS, along with a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 3x optical zoom telephoto lens. This setup is quite versatile, handles zoom, wide shots, everything. A 50MP front camera has also been given for selfies.
The foldable version could also have a similar camera setup, but there could be a slight compromise due to space. 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide and 2x optical zoom telephoto are expected. There could be two cameras on the front, one for the inner and one for the outer display. But the zoom capabilities are not as good as the Phone (3).
Features & Tech
Both the phones will run on the latest version of Nothing OS, based on Android 15. Nothing is known for its clean, minimal and smooth UI. AI features like smarter widgets, customisation and smooth animations are expected in both. But the Fold will make multitasking more fun due to the big screen.
Battery & Charging
The Phone (3) has a big 5500mAh battery (India version), which supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Battery life will be quite impressive for a single screen phone.
A 5000mAh battery is expected inside the Fold, with 45W fast charging. Wireless charging is also possible. But the dual display may drain the battery a little quickly.

The price of Nothing Phone (3) in India starts from ₹79,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. The 16GB+512GB variant is ₹89,999. With offers, the price can come down a little.
The expected price of Nothing Fold is ₹89,999 to ₹1,00,000, depending on specs. The price of foldables is a little premium, so expect high.
Final Verdict
If you want a traditional phone with a powerful and unique design, solid camera, top performance and strong battery life, then Nothing Phone (3) is perfect. But if you want to explore foldable tech and want a phone + tablet experience in one device, then Nothing Fold can be an interesting option.
