How to make Paneer Tikka Sandwich (Step-by-Step):

Prepare the vegetables: Firstly, cut the paneer, onion and capsicum into small cubes or lengthwise as per your preference. You can cut the paneer into cubes and the onion and capsicum lengthwise, as per your preference.

Make the marination: Now, take mustard oil in a large vessel. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dried mango powder, cumin powder, salt, black salt, kasuri methi, hung curd, ginger-garlic paste/powder, roasted gram flour and lemon juice and mix well. Beat this mixture well so that there are no lumps.

Marinate the paneer and vegetables: Now, add the chopped paneer, capsicum, and onion to the prepared marinade. Mix everything well with gentle hands so that the marinade is evenly applied to all sides. Keep it in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes so that the flavour penetrates inside. You can also keep it for 30 minutes if you want.

Cook paneer tikka: You can cook the marinated paneer and vegetables in the oven (15-20 minutes at 180°C) or even in a pan. To cook in a pan, heat some ghee or oil in a non-stick pan and cook the marinated mixture over a medium flame until the paneer turns light golden and the vegetables become slightly soft. Be careful not to overcook the paneer; otherwise, it may become hard.

Prepare the sandwich spread: Now, prepare the spread to apply to the sandwich. For this, mix mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, chili flakes and oregano in a bowl and mix well.

Assemble the sandwich: Apply the prepared spread on one slice of bread. Spread the cooked paneer tikka filling well on the other slice. Now, make a sandwich by placing both slices on top of each other.

Toast the sandwich: Heat a tawa or toaster over medium heat. Apply some ghee or butter on it and fry the sandwich on both sides till it becomes golden and crispy.

That’s it, your hot and delicious paneer tikka sandwich is ready! Enjoy it with your favourite chutney or sauce.
