Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: To make its X-series even more powerful, Vivo has launched both phones – Vivo X200 FE and Vivo X200 5G – in the Indian market. Vivo X200 FE was launched on 14 July 2025, and its sale has started from 23 July. The Vivo X200 5G had come to the market a little earlier, on 14 October 2024. Both phones have come with strong options in the flagship segment, but each phone offers something different and special in its place.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Display Experience
Both phones are quite powerful in the display segment, but the approach is different. The Vivo X200 FE features a compact 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED flat display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Its biggest highlight is its peak brightness – which goes up to 5000 nits, which is best for outdoor usage. It also has features like ZEISS Master Color Display and 4320Hz PWM dimming.
The Vivo X200 5G features a slightly larger and curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display with the same 1260×2800 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This display goes up to 4500 nits brightness and also supports HDR10+. But for curved display lovers, this option may seem more attractive.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Performance and Chipset
Talking about performance, Vivo X200 FE has MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor, which is a flagship-level chip and gives a smooth experience in daily usage. But Vivo X200 5G has a new and slightly more powerful Dimensity 9400 chipset, which becomes more efficient and fast with new architecture and AI integration.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Camera Setup
There are also quite interesting differences in the camera segment. Vivo X200 FE has a triple rear camera setup in which there is a primary 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP telephoto periscope lens that can go up to 100x digital zoom along with 3x optical zoom. But the ultrawide sensor is just 8MP, which feels a little basic.
On the other hand, Vivo X200 5G also has the same primary and telephoto combo, but the ultrawide lens is 50MP, which enhances the clarity and detail in the images a lot. FE is a little ahead in the front camera – in it you get a 50MP selfie shooter while X200 5G has a 32MP front cam.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Battery Life and Charging
Vivo X200 FE has taken the lead in the battery segment. It has a powerful 6500mAh battery pack which is perfect for long lasting usage. Charging speed is 90W fast charging in both, but there is no mention of wireless or reverse charging in FE.
X200 5G has a 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is small in size but comes with new battery technology and also supports reverse wired charging.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Storage, Build and Software
The X200 5G holds an advantage in storage as it has UFS 4.0, which is better than UFS 3.1 (which is given in FE) in speed and read/write performance. Both phones come with 12GB and 16GB RAM options.
Talking about design and durability, the FE is a bit compact and light – it weighs 186g and the dimensions are also a bit smaller. Both have IP68 rating, but IP69 is also mentioned in FE. Software Both phones come with Android 15, OriginOS or Funtouch OS based on region.
Vivo X200 FE vs Vivo X200 5G: Price in India
In the pricing segment, both phones provide value according to their category. The price of Vivo X200 FE starts from ₹54,999, while Vivo X200 5G is available in a slightly premium range from ₹65,999. That is, if you want a compact design, better front camera and big battery, then FE is a strong choice. But if you want a curved display, better ultrawide camera and latest processor, then it would be better to go with X200 5G.
Verdict: Which Phone Should I Buy?
If you want a lightweight and compact phone that has flagship performance, big battery and detailed front camera, then Vivo X200 FE will be best for you. But if you want a curved display, powerful ultrawide camera, and a bit more latest processor then Vivo X200 5G will meet your expectations perfectly. Both phones are top class in their segments – the choice depends on your usage and preference.
