Honor X70 features: Honor has released its latest budget phone, the Honor X70, in China. With IP69K certification and rugged construction, this latest smartphone could raise the bar on what is expected of budget phones.

Tough Build with IP69K Certification

The Honor X70 is stunningly durable for the price. It boasts triple protection ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69K, which make it dust-resistant, water-resistant, and even resistant to high-pressure jets. This would make it one of the toughest phones in the budget segment. And, in spite of being this tough, it is thinner than one would expect at 7.76mm and weighs a lightweight 199 grams, impressive for a phone with such a large battery.

Vibrant and Immersive AMOLED Screen

In the front, the Honor X70 sports a large 6.79-inch AMOLED display with an impressive 1.5K resolution. The screen is supported by a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and touches a high point of 6000 nits. It also offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 3840Hz PWM dimming to lower eye strain. For watching videos and gaming, this display is the clear winner in its segment.

Performance Powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 4

Internally, the phone is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset along with up to 12GB of RAM and a premium 512GB storage. The combination delivers smooth performance for day-to-day tasks, light gaming, and app switching. It’s a great balance of power and efficiency for a budget device.

Huge 8,300mAh Battery and Dual 80W Charging

One of the most impressive aspects is the humongous 8,300mAh battery inside its slender body. The phone offers 80W wired charging across all models, and the flagship 512GB model even has 80W wireless charging, a feature usually found at much higher prices. This guarantees extended use and rapid top-ups as needed.

Good Cameras and Intelligent Features

As far as the camera is concerned, Honor X70 has a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS and an ultra-wide-angle 8MP rear lens, with the front having support for an 8MP front camera. The in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, infrared sensor, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and WiFi 6 are some of the additional features that complete the device.

Launch Date and Price Details

Honor X70 will become available in China from July 18, 2025. Available in four stunning colors Midnight Black, Bamboo Green, Moon White, and Cinnabar Red. Priced from 1399 yuan for the budget-friendly 8GB+128GB version to 1999 yuan for the 12GB+512GB version. With such specs and price, Honor X70 is set to become one of the most affordable smartphones this year.
