UP Weather Update: In Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of the country in terms of population, monsoon has completely put the brakes on the pace of life these days. There is a crisis all around due to continuous rain. There are many areas where flood-like conditions prevail. The water level in rivers, ponds and drains has increased significantly. Due to late-night rain, the roads and streets of many cities got waterlogged.
Traffic was disrupted due to waterlogging, where jam conditions persisted. There is no possibility of relief from rain in Uttar Pradesh yet. Rain warning her, including Gorakhpur, Kanpur
According to the report of the Indian Meteorological Department, a period of rain with lightning and thunder of clouds can be seen in UP for several days. According to the IMD, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Kanpur. Apart from these, heavy rains may continue in Prayagraj, Bahraich, Balrampur and Siddharthnagar.
Heavy rains are also expected in Basti, Deoria, Kushinagar, Faizabad and Barabanki. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Gonda, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Mau and Chandauli. According to the IMD, rain is expected in many places in Uttar Pradesh from July 15 to July 20. Rain can become a disaster in many parts of UP.

There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many parts of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. There may also be rain in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. A period of rain can be seen in Delhi NCR, including Delhi and hilly and plain areas of western UP and Uttarakhand.
