You must be aware that the Bajaj Pulsar series once ruled the Indian bike market, but now the company has removed one of them, the Pulsar N150, from its official website. Has this bike been discontinued forever, or is Bajaj going to bring an updated version? Let’s know the full details!

Sales of Pulsar N150

Let us tell you that Bajaj Pulsar N150 came withfewers features and power than N160, due to which it could not become as popular. If we look at the sales report of May 2025, only 15,937 units of Pulsar 150cc were sold, whereas 29,386 units were sold in the same month last year. That is, there was a decline of more than 50% in sales.

On the contrary, the sales of 160cc Pulsar (N160 and NS160) have increased by 24.88%. Perhaps this is the reason why Bajaj decided to remove N150 from the website.

N160 replaced N150

Bajaj has made N160 more attractive, it has features like USD telescopic fork, dual-channel ABS and sportier styling. Obviously, when the 160cc variant is offering a better option for a little more money, people will prefer N160 over N150.

About its engine, you must know that N150 had a 149.68cc air-cooled engine, which gave only 14.3 bhp power. On the other hand, N160 gives 16 bhp power with h 160cc engine, which makes a lot of difference in performance.

Will N150 come back?

Talking about its return, it is possible that Bajaj is preparing to stop N150 for some time and upgrade it. If this is the case, then the new N150 might get some more features. But if the sales trend remains the same, then Bajaj might discontinue the N150 permanently and shift its focus to 160cc+ models.
