8th Pay Commission Update: Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the formation of the 8th Pay Commission at the beginning of the year, lakhs of employees of the country have been waiting for it. However, the names of the chairman and members have not been selected yet. However, the committee is formed within one and a half to two months. That is, it is getting late now. Meanwhile, good news has come for the employees.

Salary is likely to increase by 34 per cent.

If media reports are to be believed, the salary of the employees can increase by 30 to 34per centt after the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission. If such a huge increase is made by the government, then about 1.1 crore employees and pensioners will get direcbenefitsit.

Salary was increased by this much under the 7th Pay Commission.

Let us tell you that a new pay commission is formed by the government every 10 years. In this, the salary, allowances and benefits of the employees are reviewed. The government does this so that salarieslary of government employees and pensioners are in line with inflation. At present, there is a 7th Pay Commission. Under the 7th Pay Commission, there was a 14 per cent increase in the salary. Now, government employees have a lot of expectations under the 8th Pay Commission.

How is the Pay Commission implemented?

PM Modi announced the 8th Pay Commission in January this year. But the chairman and members have not been appointed yet. The commission will prepare recommendations and submit them to the government, and after getting the approval of the government,theyt will be implemented. If the report is to be believed, after the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, 44 lakh central government employees and 68 lakh pensioners will get direct benefits.

Now it has to be seen when the 8th Pay Commission is implemented. The 8th Pay Commission can be implemented only after the names of the government members andthe  chairman are selected. Employees and pensioners are eagerly waiting for it.
