Top 10 SUVs: SUV buyers have more choices than ever, and the June 2025 sales chart shows which ones truly stand out. While some popular names held their positions, others saw major ups and downs. Let’s take a quick look at the top-selling SUVs that dominated the market last month.
Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta once again grabbed the top spot in June 2025. However, sales slightly dipped by 3% compared to the same month last year. It sold 15,786 units this time, down from 16,293. Despite the drop, Creta continues to be a strong favourite among midsize SUV buyers.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
Brezza surprised everyone with a solid 10% growth. It secured the second position by selling 14,507 units in June 2025, up from 13,172 last year. This rise reflects its growing popularity and trust among buyers looking for a compact and practical SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio
Scorpio maintained strong momentum and ended up at third place. With 12,740 units sold in June 2025, it showed a 4% increase from last year’s 12,307. Its tough build and strong road presence continue to attract buyers.
Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon couldn’t hold its previous pace, dropping to fourth place. It sold 11,602 units this June, down by 4% from 12,066 units last year. Despite the slight dip, Nexon remains a solid option in the compact SUV space.

Tata Punch
Punch saw the biggest fall among the top 10. Its sales dropped sharply by 43%, with 10,446 units sold in June 2025 compared to 18,238 last year. This massive drop pushed it to the fifth spot, showing a significant shift in buyer preference.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx
Fronx stayed stable with a small 1% growth year-on-year. It recorded 9,815 units in June 2025, just slightly higher than last year’s 9,688. It managed to hold on to sixth place, proving its steady demand in the market.
Mahindra Thar
Thar made a big leap with a massive 77% growth, selling 9,542 units in June 2025. This surge was likely driven by strong interest in the Thar Roxx model. It climbed up the ranks and now stands in seventh place.
Toyota Hyryder
Hyryder also gained strong momentum, jumping by 75% year-on-year. In June 2025, it sold 7,462 units compared to 4,275 last year. The increasing demand for hybrids seems to be pushing its sales forward.
Mahindra XUV 3XO
XUV 3XO didn’t have the best month, slipping by 17% in sales. It sold 7,089 units in June 2025, down from 8,500 last year. However, the brand’s expansion with the REVX series might help improve numbers in the near future.
Hyundai Venue
Venue dropped by 31%, with sales falling from 9,890 units to 6,858 in June 2025. This slide pushed it down to the last spot in the top 10 list, showing a decline in market interest compared to its competitors.
