Hyundai Creta: Hyundai Creta remains one of the most popular choices among Indian consumers. Its demand has not been decreasing, as it was the top-selling vehicle in India again in June 2025. This indicates how high its demand is. Although its year-on-year sales fell by 3%, it was still the top-seller with 15,786 units being sold. In June 2024, it sold 16,293 units. Despite this marginal fall, there was no other vehicle that could touch its figures this time.

Maruti Dzire and Brezza Take Second and Third Positions

Maruti Suzuki Dzire took the second place with a combined sale of 15,484 units, marking a 15% rise over the same month last year. Its popularity with sedan buyers, in particular, ensured that it remained steady in the ranks.

Third was Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which recorded 14,507 units. But it suffered a 10% decline in year-over-year sales. Nevertheless, it held its ground in the top three and testified to its consistent popularity in the compact SUV space.

Ertiga, Swift, and WagonR Hold Strong Grip

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ranked fourth at 14,151 units despatched, though it fell by 11% compared to previous year. This MPV continues to enjoy robust demand among big families and fleet operators.

Maruti Swift ranked fifth at 13,275 units, but witnessed a steep 19% drop in year-on-year sales. Maruti WagonR remained not far behind with 12,930 units, which fell by 6% in the same time frame.

Scorpio, Nexon, Punch, and Fronx Complete the Top 10

Mahindra Scorpio ranked seventh on the list with 12,740 units sold, with a 4% year-over-year growth. Tata Nexon was in eighth position with 11,602 units sold, though this was 4% less than the same period last year.

Tata Punch was at ninth with 10,446 units sold, having witnessed the largest decline in the top 10 list at 43%. Finally, Maruti Suzuki Fronx finished off the list at tenth, selling 9,815 units, with a decline in sales of only 1%.

June 2025 sales numbers show that SUV models are still in high demand. Hyundai Creta topping the list once again proves its strong position in the market.
