New Delhi: Tomorrow i.e. Wednesday is going to be a very important day in the country. More than 25 crore employees of India are going to take to the streets against the anti-labour and anti-farmer policies. Bharat Bandh has been announced, the effect of which is likely to be seen in all the states.
This nationwide and Bharat Bandh is estimated to cause losses worth crores of rupees. Apart from this, the anti-government grand alliance in Bihar has also called for a Chakka Jam. Rahul Gandhi, MP from Rae Bareli and senior Congress leader, is also going to participate in this Chakka Jam. All the government employee organisations are busy preparing for the strike at their level.

Who will participate in the bandh?
Bharat Bandh has been announced by the employee organizations. AITUC, HMS, CITU, INTUC, INUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF and UTUC will participate in it. RSS-affiliated Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh will not participate in this forum.
Apart from this, the United Kisan Morcha and the United Front of Agricultural Labor Unions also supported this strike, due to which a large-scale mobilization has been decided in rural India. At the same time, Amarjit Kaur of the All India Trade Union Congress said that more than 25 crore employees are expected to participate in the strike. Farmers and rural employees across the country are also likely to join the protest.

For information, let us tell you that the unions had submitted a 17-point memorandum to Labor Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, but no meaningful action has been taken. They accuse the government of not wanting to organise an annual labour conference for 10 years. An attempt is being made to weaken the trade unions through the new Labor Code.
