TVS iQube: If you’re sick of shelling out for petrol, there is now an alternative to consider. TVS has brought a new version of its best-selling iQube electric scooter to India, which costs ₹1.03 lakh ex-showroom. This new 3.1 kWh model is aimed at city buyers who need a combination of range, features, and affordability. With this recent launch, the iQube line now has six variants available, which provides customers with more options based on their budget and requirements.
Battery and Range
TVS iQube’s new 3.1 kWh variant has been designed primarily for city usage. It will offer an estimated range of 123 kilometres per full charge, providing a safe level of range for everyday commutes and small journeys without needing to recharge too frequently. This variant sits well between the base and top-of-the-line models of iQube and offers a prudent option for those who desire good performance without opting for the costliest model.
Features and Safety
The features of this new iQube variant are comfort and safety-oriented. It has a hill hold feature, making it simpler to handle the scooter in stop-and-go traffic or inclines, ideal for city commuting. It is equipped with a new user interface to its digital screen, simple and more friendly to utilize. TVS has not revealed complete details of all the changes, but the new screen promises improved readability and smoother control.
Sales and Popularity
TVS has been upgrading various versions of the iQube in the recent past, with the addition of larger batteries, dual-tone colour, and backrests in some. This strategy appears to be paying dividends because the iQube has already sold more than six lakh units, emerging as one of India’s highest selling electric scooters. It has also developed a robust service infrastructure with over 1900 touchpoints in the country, which instills confidence among buyers. Families in particular are choosing iQube due to its safe ride quality and low cost of ownership.
Design and Colour Options
Speaking of its appearance, the new iQube 3.1 kWh retains the same design language but introduces new dual-tone colour schemes, making it look more premium and appealing. Customers have four colors to choose from: Pearl White, Titanium Grey, Starlight Blue with Beige, and Copper Bronze with Beige. The new colors give the scooter a fresher, more stylish appearance and allow customers to feel a greater sense of individuality. Despite its unchanged design, the new colors give the scooter a new life and fresh feel, making it the standout on Indian roads.
