Bajaj Auto grabbed attention with its sales performance in June 2025. People showed great interest in the company’s vehicles, which led to total sales of 3,60,806 units last month. Compared to June last year, when 3,58,477 units were sold, the company saw a small growth of 1 percent. This growth was possible thanks to strong exports, which rose by 21 percent. At the same time, Bajaj faced a decline in the domestic market, where sales fell 13 percent compared to a year ago.
Two-Wheeler Sales Trends
In the two-wheeler category, Bajaj’s domestic sales in June 2025 fell to 1,49,317 units from 1,77,207 units a year ago. This is a 16 percent drop. However, the export numbers went up from 1,26,439 units last June to 1,49,167 units this June, showing 18 percent growth. If we combine domestic and export sales of two-wheelers, the total stood at 2,98,484 units, which is 2 percent lower than last year.
Commercial Vehicle Performance
Bajaj’s commercial vehicles had mixed results last month. Domestic sales were almost flat at 39,143 units, with just a minor drop of 101 units from last year. On the other hand, exports grew strongly, rising from 15,587 units last June to 23,179 units this year. That means a sharp 49 percent increase. Overall, Bajaj sold 62,322 commercial vehicles in June 2025, which shows a 14 percent improvement.
Quarterly Results
Looking at the April-June quarter, Bajaj Auto sold a combined 11,11,237 vehicles. That is only 1 percent higher than the 11,02,056 units sold in the same quarter last financial year. In the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj sold 5,29,344 units in the domestic market during the quarter, which is 9 percent less than last year. But exports increased by 14 percent, reaching 4,19,447 units from 3,68,420 units. This brought the total two-wheeler sales for the quarter to 9,48,791 units, just slightly less than the 9,50,917 units of the previous year.
Commercial Vehicles in the Quarter
During the same quarter, Bajaj sold 1,62,446 commercial vehicles. This is 7 percent higher than a year ago. Domestic commercial vehicle sales slipped a bit from 1,08,124 units to 1,05,464 units. Meanwhile, export sales of commercial vehicles jumped 32 percent to 56,982 units from 43,015 units. Overall, Bajaj’s domestic vehicle sales in the first quarter of this financial year fell 8 percent to 6,34,808 units, while exports went up by 16 percent to 4,76,429 units.
