JSSC Acharya Teacher Recruitment 2025 : Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has started a major recruitment process for the appointment of Acharya (PGT) teachers in the secondary schools of the state. Online application for this recruitment has started from 27 June 2025 and interested candidates can apply by visiting the website jssc.jharkhand.gov.in till 27 July 2025. This recruitment is being done under Jharkhand Trained Secondary Acharya Combined Competitive Examination 2025.
Number of vacancies and nature of posts
Under this recruitment campaign, teachers will be appointed on a total of 1373 vacant posts. All these posts have been set for different subjects in trained secondary schools.
Qualification and Educational Eligibility
Only those candidates can apply for these posts who have completed Post Graduation degree as well as B.Ed from a recognized university. Along with this, the candidates should also have subject related proficiency.
Age limit details
The minimum age has been kept at 21 years. The maximum age has been fixed category wise as follows:
- General and EWS category: 40 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 42 years
- Women (all categories): 43 years
- Scheduled Caste and Tribe category: Up to 45 years
Application fee
General and other category candidates will have to pay ₹ 100 fee for this exam. At the same time, this fee has been reduced to ₹ 50 for the candidates of Scheduled Caste and Tribe category of Jharkhand.
Correction facility
If a candidate makes any mistake while filling the application, he will get a chance to correct his form from 2 August to 4 August 2025.
Selection process structure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of an online exam, which will be conducted in two parts.
In the first part i.e. Paper-1, questions related to General Knowledge, Hindi, English and Computer will be asked and this paper will be of 200 marks.
The second part i.e. Paper-2 will have subject based questions, in which there will be a 300 marks exam related to the subject in which the candidate has to get appointment.
Pay Scale and Benefits
The teacher selected under this recruitment will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Apart from this, other government allowances will also be given, which are given under the rules of the state government.
