On 27 June 2025, banks will remain closed in Odisha and Manipur on the occasion of Rath Yatra. Rath Yatra, also known as Rath Jatra, is a famous Hindu festival that is mainly celebrated with great pomp in Puri (Odisha). It is a festival of Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra going out on huge chariots from the temple and touring the city (Nagar Mana). It is celebrated every year in June-July (Ashadha month) and millions of devotees participate in this festival.
