Ration Card Update: The ration card is an essential document without which all work comes to a standstill. The government has now made it mandatory to complete e-KYC to strengthen the grain distribution system and promote transparency. The last date for completing e-KYC is also approaching soon, with only 7 days remaining.

If you do not complete the e-KYC process for your ration card, you may be deprived of the facilities for grains. This will come as a big shock to ration card holders. We will outline the key aspects of e-KYC below, where all your confusion will be addressed.

Know by which date to complete the e-KYC process.

The government has fixed the last date for completing the e-KYC process for ration cards, after which this work must be completed by June 30, 2025. This is the previous date for completing e-KYC, after which you will no longer be able to do this work. If ration card holders delay in getting this work done, it will come as a big shock.

The purpose of obtaining e-KYC is to make the distribution system more transparent. This will remove ineligible people from the list. There are a large number of people across the country who are taking advantage of the free ration facility by hiding information. But now this will not happen. At the administrative level, such people are now being reined in.
