Hyundai Verna Facelift Set for 2025
Hyundai is planning a mid-cycle facelift for its best-selling Verna sedan, which will be introduced next year. The engine, although, will see no drastic changes, but the exterior will get cosmetic updates, and the interior will undergo changes. The facelift will ensure that the Verna remains up to date without changing its existing powertrain configuration.
Hyundai Aura Also in Line for an Update
Alongside the Verna, Hyundai’s compact sedan Aura is expected to receive a facelift. The update will likely focus on minor design tweaks and feature enhancements, offering a refreshed package for budget-conscious buyers. While mechanical specifications may remain unchanged, the refreshed styling will add to its appeal in urban markets.
Next-Gen Honda City to Launch in 2028
Honda is getting ready with a fully refreshed version of its popular City sedan. The sixth-generation car will ride on the new PF2 platform and is set to go into production as early as May 2028. It will sport a radical new styling language, different from the existing version, and is expected to be made available with both petrol and hybrid powertrain options, which will make it more versatile.
Skoda Octavia RS Returning as a Premium Offering
Performance fans will have something to wait for with the revival of the Skoda Octavia RS. Set to be launched as a CBU import, the fourth-gen variant will come equipped with a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine sourced from the Golf GTI, good for 265 hp. Fitted at a price of more than ₹60 lakh, it will also sport mechanical upgrades to enhance driving dynamics.
Volkswagen Virtus Facelift Guarantees Contemporary Upgrades
The Virtus, the present market leader in the midsize sedan segment, is likely to receive a major facelift next year. Volkswagen will enhance both the exterior and interior, leaving the 1.0L and 1.5L turbo petrol units unchanged. The new look and new tech will enhance its market standing further.
Skoda Slavia Facelift Planned for 2026
Sharing its platform with the Virtus, the Skoda Slavia too is due for a mid-life update. Out in 2026, the facelift will focus on improving the design and cabin experience. The update will enable Skoda to stay competitive in the fast-changing midsize sedan market.
