Voter ID– The Chief Election Commission has made a big change for all the elections to be held in the country. On Wednesday, the Election Commission said that it has started a new process to deliver the voter card (EPIC) to the home within 15 days. This facility will be applicable in case of new voters being registered, or any change in the information of the old voter.
Till now it takes more than a month for people to get their voter cards. Under the new process, every stage will be tracked from the making of the voter card to its reaching home through the postal department. This means that the entire system will now be traced in real-time. Along with this, information about every step will be given to the voter through SMS, so that they can know where their voter card has reached.

To get a voter ID card made online, you will have to download the Voter Helpline app of the Election Commission of India from Google Play Store and Play Store in Android and iOS mobiles. With the help of this app, you can get a voter card made online and make corrections in the voter card.
How to apply for a new voter card
First of all install the Voter Helpline app on your mobile. After this you have to open it. Where you have to click on voter registration. After this, you have to fill the information asked in the app like your name, address, mobile number and Aadhar card details. After completing all this process, click on the submit button. After completion of this process, verification will be done by BLO and your new voter card will be made and sent to your home.
How to make correction in old voter card
In the same way, you can also make corrections in your old voter ID card from the Voter Helpline app. For this, you will have to click on the Complaint and Registration option at the end of the app. After which you will have to fill some important details and after 15 days your new voter ID card will be ready and delivered to your home.
