Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 : If you are looking for a government job and dream of working in the Maritime Security Force, then a great opportunity has come up for you. The Indian Coast Guard has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Sailor and Mechanical for 2025. A total of 630 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. Who can apply?
The educational qualification to participate in this recruitment drive has been fixed differently according to the posts. If you want to apply for Sailor (General Duty), then you must have Physics and Maths subjects in class 12th. At the same time, for Sailor (Domestic Branch), the candidate must be at least 10th pass.
Candidates applying for Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics posts should have tenth or twelfth as well as two to four years diploma in the relevant branch (such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunication).
Age limit and relaxation
For these posts, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum age 21 years. But if you come from Scheduled Caste or Tribe, then you will get a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age. At the same time, OBC category candidates will get the benefit of 3 years relaxation.
How much salary will you get?
If you are selected for these posts, then you will also get a good salary. The youth appointed to the post of Sailor (General Duty and Domestic Branch) will get a salary of ₹ 21,700 every month. Whereas the candidate selected for the mechanical post will get ₹ 29,200 monthly salary along with other allowances.
