Here, Sanju, the son of a retired teacher, who is a graduate, joins the system as a simple worker in the village. He is greatly impressed by the power of Mahendra Singh, the influential and wealthy leader of the village.

However, when his self-esteem is hurt, Sanju decides that he will bring about a change in the village. Meanwhile, he is put in the electoral fray. There is a fierce contest between the two pillars of power in the village – Mahendra Singh and his rival Triveni Mishra, and Sanju starts taking advantage of the rift between the two.
