Kisan Credit Card- Good news for farmers. Now it has been decided to provide Kisan Credit Card to fishermen and fish farmers as well. On the orders of Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, UP Government, the benefits of KCC scheme have been organized to provide the facility of Kisan Credit Card to every fish farmer and fisherman in each block area with the joint courtesy of District Fisheries Office Sonbhadra and Lead Bank Manager.

Giving information, departmental officer R K Srivastava said that to avail the benefits of the scheme, fisher farmers are required to provide two copies of passport size coloured photographs for KCC, a clean photocopy of Aadhar card, an updated clean photocopy of bank passbook, LPC receipt of pond and fish seed hatchery, registered lease, lease of water taxes settled by the district fisheries office and a clean photocopy of the receipt of revenue payment.

The district fisheries officer has informed all the fish farmers and other stakeholders in this regard so that maximum numbers can apply for KCC.
