SSC CGL 2025 Notification Release : So those whose wait for a government job recruitment was patiently waiting must come to an end. On June 9, 2025, one of the most coveted amongst all government jobs in India, the notification for SSC CGL exam, was issued by the Staff Selection Commission. Online application started way back at ssc.gov.in, and the last date to fill up the online application is July 4, 2025. After this date, keep your preparation going for this most-awaited exam. The Tier-I exam will be computer-based and conducted from August 13 to August 30, 2025.

Online Application

1. Register with the SSC One-Time Registration (OTR) portal.

2. Once you log in using your registration ID, fill out an application form.

3. Upload photographs and signatures as per prescribed format.

4. Pay an application fee (100 rupees for General/OBC category; No fee for SC/ST/Female/Ex-Servicemen).

5. Submit form, download the confirmation page for future reference.

Besides applying using the above mode, applications are also available through mySSC with Aadhaar OTP and Face authentication options.

Who Can Apply?

You must:

Have completed graduation from recognised universities.

Age between 18 years and 30 years as per government relaxation rules.

Number of Vacancies

The SSC has not come up with an announcement concerning the number of vacant posts exactly, but based on the trends of the previous year, the estimated number would be something close to around 10,000 posts, thus covering Group B & Group C level government jobs in various departments and ministries.
