SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2025 : Applications for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade C and D have been notified by the Directorate General Border Roads for the year 2025 after arrangement with SSC. Those who have passed the Secondary School Exam and are on the lookout for a permanent government job-this is the golden chance. There are a total of 261 to be appointed for the SSC Stenographers application under this recruitment notice via the Commission at all count levels. Application for these vacancies began June 6, 2025, and the last date to apply shall be June 26, 2025.

Eligible candidates are those who have passed class XII from a recognized board. The age limit, as per advertisement, for the post, Grade C is 18-30 years and for Grade D, 18-27 years. The higher age limit is for reserved category candidates permissible as per government orders.

The selection process for recruitment is in two tiers. Level one will be the Computer Based Test (CBT) and those who qualify in the CBT will be called for the Skill Test. The CBT will comprise 200 objective types of questions- covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

The CBT will be conducted from the 6th to the 11th of August, 2025. Skill tests will be notified later. So better prepare yourself for the examination.

The application fees for applicants in the General and OBC categories shall be Rupees One Hundred. However, SC, ST, PwBD, female, and ex-service candidates are not required to pay the application fees. The last date for payment is June 27, 2025. The correction window, for modifications in details of the application forms, will be available on July 1 and July 2, 2025.

Online registration is also available on the official SSC website- ssc.gov.in. All the important documents need to be scanned and uploaded immediately after registration, such as the Class 12 certificate, photograph, signature, and proof of identity; it is recommended that these documents be uploaded well before the close of application windows.
