Xiaomi’s Mijia cordless hair straightening brush now comes in a new color called “Cloud Purple.” The smartphone, which was previously exclusively available in white, is now being sold in China for 299 yuan (around $42) via the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The basic hardware from the previous version is still the same.
Features of the Mijia Cordless Straightening Brush
For everyday ease and mobility, the Mijia cordless hair straightening brush was created. Because it only weighs 269 grams, it is suitable for daily carrying and travel. Users can safely put the device in their luggage because it offers a special flight mode. Also, it has a travel lock switch that guards against unintentional activation when being transported.
The brush has two 3200mAh batteries that are connected in series, according to Xiaomi. Depending on hair length, it can manage roughly three to four full styling sessions on a single charge. Long hair typically gets about three uses per charge, although short and medium hair can get up to four. When charging with a 5V 3A adaptor, the gadget takes about three hours to fully charge via a USB Type-C connector.
Three temperature settings are supported by the brush: 160°C, 180°C, and 200°C. It distributes heat across the surface quickly, evenly, and steadily using an MCH ceramic heating element. The ceramic-coated comb teeth are designed to provide hair gloss while avoiding heat damage. The brush has an insulated outer layer for added safety, which helps shield users from burns while using it.
Six negative ion outlets are also incorporated into the brush by Xiaomi. to the company, while the outlets are operating, tens of millions of negative ions are released every cubic centimeter. The goal of these ions is to make hair smoother and less frizzy. Environmental factors and humidity levels can affect actual ion performance.
After 30 minutes of continuous usage, the device automatically turns off and has NTC thermal protection. It is just portable and lightweight, which makes it appropriate for travel.
