During the training, women also get a stipend of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 every month, which helps them financially. Not only this, when the training is completed and they become agents, they get commission on every policy. Women can earn up to Rs 48,000 in the first year itself.
Who can apply?
Only women can participate in this scheme. Age must be between 18 to 70 years. If you have passed at least tenth, then you can apply for this scheme. But keep in mind that those who are already LIC agents, employees or their family members are not eligible for this scheme. That is, this scheme is completely for new and those women who want to earn on their own.
How to apply?
If you want to join this scheme, then you have to visit the official website of LIC or contact your nearest CSC center or panchayat office. Applying online is very easy. Go to the website and fill the form, upload your necessary documents like age certificate, address proof, tenth mark sheet, passport size photo and bank details. If you are not able to do it online, then you can also fill the form by going to the office. After applying, the selected women get information about the training through SMS or email. On completion of the training, Bima Sakhi certificate and LIC agent code are also given, which makes you an official LIC agent.
