The India-made Maruti Fronx has recently achieved a 4-star rating in the tough safety test of Japan NCAP. This compact crossover has emerged with 163.75 points (84%) out of 193.8. Frontal and side
Fronx performed well in the full-wrap frontal collision test and side impact test. When it was hit by a wall from the front and side at a speed of 50kmph, the airbags and structure in it provided excellent protection. It got 21.08 / 24 points in the full-wrap frontal test while it got 5/5 stars in the side impact test
Offset Crash Test
While the Fronx earned praise in the rest of the tests, the new offset frontal collision test became a matter of some concern. This test checks how much damage your car can cause to another vehicle. This means that the Fronx can cause more damage to the other vehicle in a collision.
Whiplash Test
Whiplash Test measures how well the seats protect your neck and back in a rear-end collision. In this, both the front seats of Fronx scored 4/5 stars, which is quite good.

AEB Test
This system recognized the walking pedestrians in time and stopped the vehicle and got 5/5 stars. At the same time, it got 3/5 rating at the intersections, which is still satisfactory.
