Battery and Range

The Kia Syros EV will likely be based on the Hyundai Inster EV’s K1 platform, which means it will get the same powerful battery options – 42kWh and 49kWh. These batteries offer a WLTP range of 300km to 355km, which is pretty good for a mid-segment EV.

Design

Talking about its design, its look will be similar to its petrol-diesel sibling Syros, but some special EV touches can be seen in it such as EV-specific alloy wheels, instrument cluster with digital graphics, new seat upholstery and trims. Apart from these, the rest of the design elements will remain the same as found in the ICE version.

Features

Price

Talking about its price, Syros is currently available between ₹ 15 lakh and ₹ 20 lakh. Due to the addition of battery and advanced technology in the EV version, its price may be slightly higher. It is expected that the starting price of Kia Syros EV can be above ₹ 18 lakh.
