Gas Cylinder- Haryana Har Ghar Grihini Yojana is a scheme launched by the Haryana government to increase the economic empowerment and self-reliance of women. Its main objective is to provide financial assistance to the housewives of the state, so that they can fulfill their daily needs and become financially strong.

And in this scheme, you get a gas cylinder for only Rs 500. Nowadays, a cylinder is filled for Rs 800 and through this scheme, you will get a gas cylinder for only Rs 500 and Rs 300 will come to your bank account.

Features

1. Financial assistance – Every household’s housewife will be given financial assistance of Rs 1000 every month.

2. Beneficiaries – Women above 18 years of age will get the benefit of this scheme.

3. Money directly into bank account – This amount will be transferred directly into the beneficiary’s bank account.

Eligibility

Woman who is a permanent resident of Haryana.

The annual income of the family should be within the limit set by the government.

The woman’s bank account should be linked to Aadhaar.

How to apply

1. Women can apply through Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).

2. Application is also possible through online portal or nearest CSC centre.

The Haryana government launched the ‘Har Ghar Har Grihini’ scheme on August 12, 2024 with the aim of providing facilities to the poor section of the state. Under this scheme, gas cylinders will be provided to BPL card holders and Antyodaya families for Rs 500. There is a provision to provide 12 cylinders in a year under this scheme.

The government intends to provide LPG gas cylinders to the families who are forced to cook on coal or wood even today. This will not only improve their standard of living but will also curb pollution.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide gas cylinder facility to those poor families of Haryana who are still forced to cook food with wood or coal. Through this scheme, the Haryana government wants to provide gas cylinders to all the poor families of the state. The aim is also to make Haryana pollution free through the Har Ghar Har Grihini scheme.
