Chardham Yatra Disrupted: Kedarnath Heli Service Stopped After India-Pakistan Escalation

Chardham Yatra: The situation of war has been created due to the increasing tension between India and Pakistan. Three big explosions were heard in Srinagar. Suspicious drone activity was seen in the airport area, after which anti-drone missiles were fired. On the other hand, after the attacks by Pakistan last night, pieces of a big rocket have been found in Barmer, Rajasthan, whose video has also surfaced on social media.

Apart from this, today, i.e. early Saturday morning, the Pakistan Army tried to attack the Khassa military cantonment in Amritsar with an armed drone. Still, the Indian defence system destroyed it in time.

At the same time, big news is coming out about the Chardham Yatra. Kedarnath heli service has been stopped. After Operation Sindoor amid India-Pakistan tension, heli services will remain suspended till further orders from the government. According to sources, heli services for Gangotri-Badrinath can also be stopped.

The Pushkar Singh Dhami government is also making strict arrangements for the security of the pilgrims visiting Chardham. The Uttarakhand Police have also deployed additional forces on the Chardham Yatra route. The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened for devotees on May 4.

In many cities of Uttarakhand, checking has been started during the day as well as at night. Additional police force is also being deployed at major intersections.

The tension between India and Pakistan has started affecting the Chardham Yatra. According to the information, advance bookings received by hotels have started getting cancelled. Bookings till June in many hotels in Badrinath Yatra halts have been cancelled. In such a situation, the concern of hoteliers is increasing.

After Operation Sindoor in Uttarakhand, the district administration is completely in alert mode. More police teams have been deployed in cities like Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Vikasnagar, Rudrapur, Kashipur, Rishikesh, Bageshwar etc.
