Lado Laxmi Yojana– Taking an important step towards the economic empowerment of economically weaker women, the Haryana government has announced the “Lado Laxmi Yojana” in the budget. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2,100 per month will be given to economically weaker women of the state.
The government has promised to give help of Rs 2100
The Haryana minister had earlier said, “We had resolved to provide financial assistance of Rs 2,100 per month to women. To fulfil this, ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’ is being finalised.” This scheme will benefit women who are above 18 years of age and come from economically weaker sections.
Women will get monthly help
This scheme was included by the BJP in its manifesto for the 2024 assembly elections, which had a provision to give monthly stipend to every woman. The state government has completed preparations to extend the benefits of the scheme to those women. This scheme is an important step taken by the Haryana government towards women empowerment. This will not only provide financial help to the women of the state but will also improve their standard of living.
The BPL category includes women from families with an annual income of up to Rs 1.80 lakh. The Chief Minister’s Office has almost completed its homework to provide shagun of Rs 2100 under the Lado Laxmi Yojana. At least two hours are being spent every day to brainstorm on how to implement this scheme.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini himself is getting feedback from the officials on the format of implementing this scheme. Under the Lado Laxmi Yojana, women between the ages of 23 and 60 will receive a gift of Rs 2100.
