AICWA Reacts Strongly to Fawad & Mahira Remarks: The recent statements of Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan regarding Operation Sindoor have created a ruckus. The All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) is angry with these artists. The association says that these Pakistani artists are openly spewing venom against India, and any Indian who is supporting them is also a traitor. The angry AICWA has decided that no Pakistani artist will be allowed to work in India.
Decent words from Pakistani artists
AICWA has expressed its displeasure by issuing a press release. They said that the way Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan have criticised India and questioned the steps taken by the country for its security is condemnable. Mahira Khan even called the action of the Indian Army ‘cowardly’. At the same time, Fawad Khan, instead of condemning terrorism, criticised India’s action and supported such ideas that divide people among themselves.
Insult to the country, disrespect to the martyrs
AICWA clearly said that the statements of these artists are not only an insult to our country, but also make fun of the lives of countless innocent people who lost their lives due to terrorism. It also insults those brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. The association reiterated that no Pakistani artist, filmmaker or investor will be allowed to work in India. No Indian artist will now work with Pakistani artists or share any international platform.
‘Abir Gulaal’ is shameful:
AICWA has appealed to Indian artists to stop supporting Pakistani artists. These people openly raise slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and stand firmly with their country. The Indian film industry has to understand that supporting these artists in the name of art is a betrayal of the country’s honour. Some people in the industry are showing sympathy towards Pakistani artists by ignoring the sentiments of our country.
AICWA called Fawad Khan’s film ‘Abir Gulaal’ a shameful example. They reminded that Fawad Khan was cast in this film even after the Pulwama attack. The association clearly said that the artists and filmmakers of India will have to decide whether they are with their country or those who oppose it.
