Free Popcorn Machines Distribute: Unemployment is rampant across the country these days. Youths are knocking door to door for jobs. In such a situation, the government is also taking several measures to promote employment. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced to give popcorn machines for free to promote employment.
These popcorn machines will be given to the Bhurji community. A quota of machines has been fixed in each district. 10 machines will be given for free in Jhansi. Similarly, 10 machines will be given for free in the Rampur district of the state as well. This will help the people of the Bhurji community to get employment.
According to report, popcorn machines are being distributed for free by the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board. Application forms have been sought for this scheme in Jhansi. Interested persons can apply online through the official website of the department. Talking to News 18, Jhansi District Village Industries Officer Ramkishore said that artisans of Bhurji community / people interested in this industry will be given 10 popcorn making machines for free.
How to apply for a popcorn machine
To avail the benefits of this scheme, the age of the applicant should be between 18 and 55 years. Candidates have to apply through the official website of the government, upkvib.gov.in. The last date for this is 10 May. District Village Industries Officers say that this scheme is especially for the economically very weak people living in rural areas and coming from BPL families. Such people will be given priority.
